Karate Nova Scotia is please to host Mr. Gabriel Sylla for coaching and athlete training sessions on the weekend of April 29th-May 1st 2022. Mr. Sylla is the National Coach for the Sénégalaise Karate Federation, and will be sharing information on how to be successful at the highest levels of our sport. He is a former coach for Karate Canada’s National team and holds a Graduate Degree In High Performance Coaching and Technical Leadership from the University of British Columbia.
Friday April 29th,2022 – For the Coaches Only!
- Location: Halifax Ryuseikan Karate, 1237 Cole Harbour Rd, Dartmouth, NS
- Time: 6:30pm-9:00pm
- Fee: $25 (A discount is available to KNS coaches (dojo and provincial), contact td@karatens.org)
- This session is for all coaches (dojo and provincial) on how to train athletes for success at a National and International stage.
Saturday April 30th, 2022 – For the Athletes! and Coaches
- Location: Elizabeth Sutherland School, 66 Rockingstone Rd, Halifax, NS
- Time(s):
- 9:00am-10:30am Athletes 9-13 years old
- 10:45am-12:15pm Athletes 14+ years old
- 1:45pm-3:15pm Athletes 9-13 years old
- 3:30pm-5:00pm Athletes 14+ years old
- Fee: $25 per class or $40 per day.
- These sessions are for athlete development, but will also be open to all coaches.
Sunday May 1st, 2022 – For the Athletes! and Coaches
