  11th June 2022.\n\nWe are delighted to have Nairn Scobie (Sports Nutritio
 nist\, University of Glasgow) sharing his outstanding knowledge of nutriti
 on and its impact on sport. The session will cover the following:\n\n 	Com
 position of a healthy diet\n 	Energy balance\n 	What is considered unhealt
 hy in a diet\n 	Guidance on eating healthy\n 	What do dietary labels on fo
 od tell us\n 	Fuelling for Karate training and performance (before\, durin
 g and after)\n\nI request you circulate these details widely and encourage
  attendees from all levels within your federations to attend this fascinat
 ing and informative session. This session is applicable to all of those in
 terested in developing their karate.\n\nDuring the call\, please do the fo
 llowing:\n\n 	Put your cameras on (internet connection permitting) and you
 r microphones off – this helps the presenter interact better with the au
 dience\n 	Put your name and country in your window on the call - this help
 s us see the level of attendance from across the Commonwealth\n 	If you ha
 ve questions during the presentation\, put them into the chat box and we w
