SUMMARY:KNS - 2024 Open Team Tryout and Info Session
DESCRIPTION:It is that time of year again to start the process to put toget
 her the 2024 Nova Scotia Karate Team that will represent our province Ju
 ly 2024 in Laval\, Quebec.\n\nThe first tryout will be on November 19th i
 n HRM\, 10 am to 1 pm\, at a venue to be announced soon. There will be an 
 information session at the first tryout\n\nFor complete tryout notice\, re
 gistration link and the updated information handbook please visit the Kar
 ate NS Team page\n\nHere are some items of note:\n\n 	There will be 6 Team
  Kumite and 6 Team Kata Trainings this year\, of which 4 will be mandatory
  for each. All trainings will be at the Halifax Ryuseikan Karate Club. Ple
 ase refer to the Handbook for details on dates and mandatory sessions.\n 	
 There will be no 3 strike rule this year. Athletes will be expected to att
 end all mandatory trainings.\n 	Nationals will be in Laval\, Quebec again 
 this year and all athletes and coaches are expected to be in Laval from Ju
 ly 2nd to 8th\, 2024.\n 	We are introducing a team budget this year\, to a
 ssist with KNS in making necessary payments throughout the year. Details a
 re on page 5\, and will be discussed in the information session.\n 	There 
 will be changes in how Ranked athletes receive compensation for travel.\n\
