DESCRIPTION:Open to all KNS members and KC Affiliated clubs\n\nKarate Nova 
 Scotia is excited to host one of the best Canadian karate athletes who is 
 competing right now. Hana Furumoto-Deshaies has been a Team Canada athlete
  since 2011 (12x national medalist). She brings with her a wealth of inter
 national experience:\n\n\n 	Three medals at the Senior Pan American Games 
 (bronze in Curacao in 2022\, silver in Costa Rica in 2023\, gold in Urugua
 y in 2024)\n 	Two medals in Series A competitions\, which is a major inter
 national competitions(bronze in Greece and gold in Vancouver in 2023)\n 	H
 er best international ranking was in the top 3 in the world &amp\; she is 
 currently in the top 10\n 	Qualifications for the World Championships (in 
 Hungary) and the Pan American Games (in Chile)\n\nIn addition to this\, sh
 e studies sport psychology and is a Certified karate self-defense instruct
