SUMMARY:KNS – Provincial Karate Team Try Outs – KATA Open Camp
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOpen to all KNS Members who wish to work on d
 eveloping their Kata\, especially those who wish to compete at Nationals.
   These are the dates for the kata training:\n \n\nSept 19\nOct 17\nNov 
 21\nDec 5\n\n\n \nLocation Change:  Dave Griffin will be doing the kata 
 training at the Bridgewater Uechi Ryu Karate Club.  It is located at 115 
 Pleasant Street\, Bridgewater\, NS\, but use the Queen Street entrance fro
 m the parking lot.\n\n \nThe times for the training are going to be:\n \
 n\n\n	12-2:00 basic/development\n	2:00-2:30 break\n	2:30-4:30 kata specifi
 c\n	4:30-6:00 video analyses (provincial team candidates only)\n\n \nKata
  participants from other provinces will also be attending these practices.
 \n \nIf you are planning on attending please let me know. Also\, if you 
 have any questions please contact me.\n \nNationals will be held in Richm
 ond\, BC between January 29-31\,2016. In the past\, an athlete needed to b
 e 14 years by the end of August (2016) in order to compete at Nationals. L
 ast year\, there was a Youth Cup that allowed 12-13 year olds to compete. 
 The 12-13 year olds may be included at Nationals this year (however\, that
