SUMMARY:KNS - Team Closed Kata Workout Session#2
DESCRIPTION:This is for all kata athletes who are trying out for the team. 
 Training is from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.\n\nNationals will be held in Quebec 
 this year at the end of February or beginning of March 2017 (the exact dat
 e should be announced in the next few weeks).\n\nIn order to compete at Na
 tionals an athlete must be at least 12 years of age by August 2017 (the ex
 act cut off date will be announced once we know it). We are looking forwar
 d to seeing some new 11-13 years olds.\n\nDojo Coach's are encouraged to a
 ttend!\n\n\n\nPractices will be held at the Windsor Dojo until further not
 ice.  We will be following the same schedule which we used at previous tr
 aining sessions.  I would like to remind all candidates to take heed of t
 he following points.\n\n1) Make yourself familiar with the rules: ie canno
 t repeat Kata\, what constitutes a foul and or DQ\n\n2) Uniform: consider 
 obtaining a heavier style gi more suitable for Kata competition. Also know
  what the rules with respect to what is an acceptable gi:  ie "trousers m
 ust not reach below the ankle"\n\n3) Extra training is important. Take adv
 antage of every opportunity for training extra classes.  Doing the minimu
 m will not suffice.\n\nAn Open workout includes those athletes who might n
 ot be ready to be on the team but want the experience.\n\nDojo Coach's are
