DESCRIPTION:When: November 28\, 2021\n\nLocation: Halifax Karate Dojo\, 221
  Herring Cove Rd\, Halifax\, NS\n\nOpen to: All Nova Scotian Women and Gir
 ls aged 9-18\n\nDetails: These sessions will be meant to introduce the spo
 rt of karate to females who either have no karate experience or have limit
 ed experience with the sport side of karate. Topics covered will include k
 ata (forms) and kumite (sparring) and learning concepts on how to be succe
 ssful in these areas in a competition. This will include proper warmups\, 
 technical tools to be successful in karate tournaments\, proper cool downs
  and positive mental techniques to apply to various karate situations. In 
 addition\, we will have Olympic calibre Nutritionists offering sessions on
  how to fuel your body properly for athletic endeavors.\n\nFee: $10 per re
 gistrant (Funding opportunities available)\n\nGuidelines: All participants
  and spectators must be double vaccinated\, as per the KNS Vaccination Pol
 icy. For parents/spectators\, if you are just dropping/picking up your ath
