CKF – 2015 Commonwealth Karate Championships

Karate Canada is pleased to share with you an invitation from the Commonwealth Karate Federation and from  the Karate Association of India, to take part in the 2015 Commonwealth Karate Championships, which will take place in New Delhi (India), on September 12-15, 2015. This international competition is an Open event (open to athletes registered with a Commonwealth Karate Federation member National Federation, such as Karate Canada and its provincial member Associations), accessible to all athletes aged 10 and older, in both kata and kumite divisions.

Canadian athletes who choose or plan to compete in this event are asked to please kindly confirm this by filling out an online Doodle poll (click here for access), confirming intent to participate, no later than June 30th, 2015, so as to help Karate Canada assess and anticipate the number of Canadian participants at this event. (Please note that filling out the Doodle poll to indicate intent to participate is, in this case, non-binding, and does not formally engage athletes to take part in the event. It also does not constitute registration, and all participants must register themselves.)

Please note that due to budgetary considerations, Karate Canada does not yet have definitive plans concerning possible coaching support / staff at this event (if any), and participation of all athletes will be entirely self-funded.

Karaté Canada souhaite partager avec vous une invitation de la Fédération de karaté du Commonwealth et l’Association de karaté de l’Inde à participer au Championnat de karaté du Commonwealth 2015 qui se déroulera à New Delhi, en Inde, du 12 au 15 septembre 2015. Ce championnat international est un événement ouvert (aux athlètes membres d’une fédération nationale membre de la Fédération de karaté du Commonwealth, telle Karaté Canada et ses associations provinciales membres) s’adressant aux karatékas de 10 ans et plus qui souhaitent concourir en kata ou /et en kumité.

Les athlètes canadiens qui souhaitent ou prévoient prendre part à ce championnat sont priés de confirmer leur intention en emplissant un bref sondage en ligne Doodle (cliquez ici pour y accéder), au plus tard le 30 juin 2015, ce qui permettra à Karaté Canada d’évaluer et d’anticiper le nombre de participants canadiens à cet événement. (Prière de noter que, pour ce cas-ci, le fait de remplir le questionnaire Doodle est non contraignant et ne vous engage pas formellement à participer à cet événement. De plus, répondre au questionnaire ne constitue pas une inscription. En effet, tous les participants devront s’inscrire eux-mêmes à cet événement.)

Veuillez également noter qu’en raison de contraintes budgétaires, Karaté Canada n’a pas encore décidé du soutien possible (entraîneurs/accompagnateurs), le cas échéant, pour cet événement. De plus, notez qu’aucun soutien financier ne sera accordé aux athlètes pour leur participation.
