Open to all KNS Members who wish to work on developing their Kata, especially those who wish to compete at Nationals. These are the dates for the kata training:

Location Change: Dave Griffin will be doing the kata training at the Bridgewater Uechi Ryu Karate Club. It is located at 115 Pleasant Street, Bridgewater, NS, but use the Queen Street entrance from the parking lot.
The times for the training are going to be:
- 12-2:00 basic/development
- 2:00-2:30 break
- 2:30-4:30 kata specific
- 4:30-6:00 video analyses (provincial team candidates only)
Kata participants from other provinces will also be attending these practices.

Nationals will be held in Richmond, BC between January 29-31,2016. In the past, an athlete needed to be 14 years by the end of August (2016) in order to compete at Nationals. Last year, there was a Youth Cup that allowed 12-13 year olds to compete. The 12-13 year olds may be included at Nationals this year (however, that has not yet been confirmed).
