It is that time of year once again, it`s time to make plans to head down to Yarmouth for the annual Yarmouth Cup Karate Challenge. This year`s event will be at the same location as last year, Saturday June 6th, 2026 @ Yarmouth Consolidated Memorial High School on Forest St. here in Yarmouth.

KNS Chief Referee, Milton Bourque, will conduct an official’s clinic on Friday evening at the venue from 7 – 9 pm.

It promises to be an exciting event, the last of the tournament season. Who will take home the coveted “Yarmouth Cup”. You will want to be there when a new Champion is crowned.

As always, we will have a full slate of events including Ninja turtle for 5 years and under, and all new Ippon kumite for 6 & 7 year olds. Of course, we will have Kata/Kumite divisions for all ages, Group kata, and 2 divisions of Kobudo (weapons kata). The ever-popular King/Queen of the ring is back for ages 12-15 boys and girls. Registration will be by age and belt color, ie. White, Yellow / Orange , Green / Blue (1stBrown), Brown / Black.

In the end, the club which gathers up the most points throughout the day will take home the “Yarmouth Cup”.

Please Review Rules and Divisions Prior to Completing Registration

Please note that all competitors must be pre-registered for their events.

  • Mandatory helmets U14 kumite divisions (13 and under).
  • Mandatory payment in advance.
  • Tournament Check-in on June 6th:
    • Athletes 11 and under need to check-in between 8:30 am and 9 am.
    • Athletes 12 and up can check-in between 11:30 am and 12:00 pm.

There will be NO DOOR registrations.

  • $35 ea. Kumite 
  • $30 ea. Kata
  • $30 Team Kata ($10 per Athlete)
  • $15 ea. Ninja
  • $15 ea. King/Queen of the Ring
  • $15 ea. Ippon Kumite
  • $15 ea. Kobujitsu (Weapons)
