I am trying to determine the year of the 14th National Black Belt Championship, held at the World Trade & Convention Center, Halifax, Nova Scotia on Saturday June 13th at 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday June 14th from noon until 6:00 p.m. . I have a poster from the event. I have had this poster for decades. The year of the event is not on it, and I am trying to determine what year it took place. I studied Chito-Ryu for 15 years beginning back in the mid ’90s, and I have had this poster from that time. The sword master pictured on this poster once visited our dojo. I believe his name was Tashiro. I have tried all the usual searches to determine the year of this event, but I have not had any success in determining it. Any information would be most appreciated.
