October is shaping up to be an extraordinary month for our regional karate family. Picking up momentum right after Karate Nova Scotia’s season opener the weekend prior, this tournament brings athletes together from across New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. Adding to the excitement, we will be welcoming back our local Atlantic Canadian athletes fresh off representing Team Canada on the world stage—bringing incredible international energy right back to our home mat.
We are also proud to announce that new Para Kata divisions have been added to this season’s registration. We strongly encourage dojo leaders with Para athletes to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to gain competition experience, build confidence, and help us continue shaping a truly inclusive, strong Atlantic karate community.
Whether you are stepping onto the tatami to test your skills after the off-season, aiming for future provincial selection, or supporting our Para and elite competitors, this event sets the stage for what we can accomplish together.
