Karate NS tournaments are open to any member in good standing for any provincial organization associated with Karate Canada and the WKF.

Covid-19 protocols. Please note we will be following Province of Nova Scotia Covid-19 Guidelines, check them out!

Please note that all competitors must be pre-registered for their events.

Canteen will be available as a fundraiser for those trying out for Provincial Team. There will be a designated area set aside for eating.

There will be NO DOOR registrations.

  • $30 ea. Kumite 
  • $25 ea. Kata 
  • $25 ea. Para Athletes Kata *** New 
  • $15 ea. Ninja Turtle
  • $30 Team Kata ($10 per Athlete)
  • Referees/Judges Compete for FREE!  Must Officiate for 1/2 day.
  • Cash at Door or e-transfer to “treasurer@karatens.org” include Athlete Name, event (Kata,Kumite,Ninja,Team Kata, Para Karate) and tournament date in description

  • 8:00 – 8:45 Mandatory Athlete Check-in Youth (Under 12) / Payment Required  *** If you miss check-in your events are not guaranteed
  • 9:00 – 9:15 Opening Announcements
  • 9:15 – 12:30 Ninja/Youth Events
    Youth Kata (Under 12) Ninja Turtles (Under 9)
    Youth Team Kata (Under 12) Youth Kumite (Under 12)
  • 11:30 – 12:00 Mandatory Athlete Check-in Junior (12-17) & Senior (18+) / Para Karate Payment Required *** If you miss check-in your events are not guaranteed
  • 12:00 – 12:30 Rotating lunch break for officials/minor officials/tournament support staff
  • 12:30 – 5:30 Junior & Senior Events
