KNS Awards Reception
The intent is to recognize the highest athletic achievements, as well as, contributions to karate of the individuals in this province (athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, supporters).
Date: Saturday June 11th, 2016 / 6:30 pm
Location: Knights of Columbus Hall, 5 Colins Street, Yarmouth
KNS Hall of Fame Induction “Sensei Duncan MacLeod”
Tickets:
12 and over $15.00 each (HST incl.)
Children under 12 $10.00 each (HST incl.)
The MEAL will be a Turkey Dinner, coffee, tea, rolls, and desserts.
The awards will be followed by music and entertainment

All members of the KNS, their families, friends and fans are invited.
This event is not just for NS Team member. The evening will include various awards, speeches, and recognition not only for athletes but for individuals who work tirelessly behind the scenes for the betterment of our association and individual clubs.
Payment can be made at the Yarmouth Cup or upon arrival at the banquet but If possible please RSVP by June 9th

KNS Volunteer of the Year – This award is presented annually to the individual who has dedicated his or her time to the betterment of our karate association. Those eligible for this award are sponsors, coaches, senseis, executive/board members, officials, minor officials, or adults in any other capacity who have been strong supporters of karate.

Dojo Sensei of the Year – This award is present annually to a dojo sensei or coach who shows respect for officials, opponents and parents while demonstrating concern for all round development of their dojo members/athletes. Nomination is also based on merits of enthusiasm, leadership and positive impact on karate and its development.
