Open to: Open to: KNS, KNB, KPEI and Karate Newfoundland athletes provincial team aged athletes. ** Due to participant number restrictions due to Covid. We can only accomodate a certain amount of athletes.

- 6:45 PM – 8:30 PM Provincial Aged Athletes (must be 12 by July 2022)
Saturday August 14th

- 8:30 AM – 9:45 AM Strength and Conditioning Session with CSCA Staff. Open to Provincial Aged Kumite and Kata athletes

- 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM Up and Comers (athletes aged 9-11)
- 2:45 PM – 4:15 PM Senior athletes (athletes 16+ at time of clinic)

- Senior (16+): $40 (daily) / $90 (weekend)
- Junior (12-15): $30 (daily) / $70 (weekend)
- Up and Comers Only: (9-11) $10 (daily)
- CSCA Sessions Only: $10 (weekend)

Sparring gear is mandatory for all classes (gloves, mouth guards, foot and shin guards).

- Entrance to the Canada Games Centre is through the side doors only, and exit is through the front doors only.
- Please arrive for the event no earlier than 10 minutes before the start of your session. When arriving, the staff at the Canada Games Centre will ask some COVID screening questions, then you will all be placed in a group to wait for a KNS coach or staff member to bring you into the field house for the event.
- If possible, please arrive dressed in your karate gi for the event. The Canada Games Centre does have change rooms available, but they are limited to max of 8 people. Also, the lockers are not available for use.
- The Canada Games Centre is not allowing spectators at this time for the event. You will be allowed to come in to drop off your child, but then will have to leave the facility. When the sessions are over, a KNS coach or staff member will lead the participants out to the front doors to be picked up, and will stay with the younger athletes until the have been picked up.
- Participants are not allowed to stay at the centre between classes. There are lockers available in the dry change rooms, so if you have a lock, you can store your items there. Remember, there are only 8 people allowed in the change room at a time.
- Masks must be worn when in the building, except for when we are doing the classes. That means when entering and exiting the building, going to the bathroom or filling up your water bottle.
- Food and drinks are not permitted in the gym, outside of water and /or sports drinks.
- Please ensure you bring a water bottle. You can fill up your water bottles at the water fountains, but you can not drink from them.
