Nova Scotia Provincial Karate Team Try Outs
Anyone who wishes to try out for the Nova Scotia Provincial Karate team needs to be aware that the first selection tournament for the season will take place at Horton High School in Wolfville, NS on April 25, 2015. Those trying out for the team must register in the category they will be competing in at Nationals.
Nationals will be held in Richmond, BC between January 29-31,2016. In the past, an athlete needed to be 14 years by the end of August (2016) in order to compete at Nationals. Last year, there was a Youth Cup that allowed 12-13 year olds to compete. The 12-13 year olds may be included at Nationals this year (however, that has not yet been confirmed).
The first team workout will be May 9, 2015. The training sessions are at the Halifax Ryuseikan Dojo at 1237 Cole Harbour Road, Cole Harbour. Training is from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The following is a tentative schedule of upcoming events. (Please note that some of the dates may be subject to change.) It is expected that there will be a second Grand Prix tournament in November or December 2015 but that date has not been confirmed yet.
